Join us in observing and honoring the revolutionary Black Panther Party's contributions to American society and culture on its 55th anniversary!


Free Classes (Ages 10+)

11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM

These one-time classes will provide an overview of the Black Panther Party's impact on American culture. Get with peers from across the nation to celebrate Black power from the past to the present.

Virtual Movie Night: Judas and the Black Messiah (Recommended for Ages 15+)

Friday, October 29

8 pm EST/5 pm PST


Join us in observing the revolutionary Black Panther Party with a free virtual screening of "Judas and The Black Messiah" on October 29.

We've partnered with Participant Media to offer a free screening of Shaka King's acclaimed film, which tells the true story of the infiltration of the Chicago branch of the Black Panther Party by informant Bill O’Neal and the assassination of Fred Hampton at the hands of the FBI.

By registering to attend, you will receive free access to screen the film for 48 hours starting on Thursday, October 28 and ending on Saturday, October 30.

Raising Revolutionary Children: A Conversation with Chairman Fred Hampton, Jr., Mother Akua and Fredrika Newton (Grown Folks)

Wednesday, October 27

7:30 pm EST/4:30 pm PST

How do you prepare your children to be independent thinkers and leaders in an era of mass information and confusion? In this conversation, we will talk with legendary freedom fighters Chairman Fred Hampton, Jr., Mother Akua and Fredrika Newton (Huey P. Newton's widow), on what goes into raising brave children who aren't afraid to push back against the status quo and stand up for what they believe in.

The discussion will last 40 minutes with 20 minutes for parent questions.
